Floating Around is the result of wandering around in Nuuk, spending days discovering the harbours and abounded boats. Fishing and sailing requires many specifically designed items. Inside the cabin, out on the deck some hanging around others floats in the sea. Taking these items out of its environment and applying it in new application, this project aims to transform the function and aesthetic of the pieces.

Project done in during Hors Piste residency in Nuuk 2017.

Floating Around mobiles is a series of 3 balancing mobiles created from items found in abandoned boats.
